Passover Mina del Carna layered Meat & Matzah

INGREDIENTS.

1 large onion, chopped.

1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey/chicken

1/2 cup chopped dill.

1/2 tsp. each black pepper & salt

4 eggs

4 Tbsp. oil to fry onions.

3 large potatoes, cooked & mashed.

3-4 matzah

TO MAKE:

I am using a homemade Matzah that I made the day before.

Cook onions with oil to brown.

In first. bowl add meat, salt & pepper, mix well.

Add cooked potato to second bowl with cooked onions, salt pepper & dill, mix well.

Brush first matzah with a little water

Mix well meat and in the other bowl mix all potato ingredients.

Add a thin layer of meat on the first Matzah.

Add a thin layer of potato mixture on the meat layer

Cover with matzah, brush the matzah with water and repeat more layers until all filling is done.

Make sure that the last layer is the potatoes. brush potatoes with egg before the baking.

Bake at 350F (180C) for the first 30 minutes, reduce the heat to 325F (160C) for another 30 minutes.
