Chicken, caramelized onions and prunes for Holidays

INGREDIENTS
Large bowl with hot water
2lb. dry prunes
Meat mixture- 1 Lb. ground meat (Beef, chicken, or a mix of two)
1/2 tsp mace
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Ingredients for the pan-
2 medium onions, chopped
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp honey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4-1/2 Ginger
r 1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2-1 cup walnuts or almonds
1 cup water

How to make
Mix cinnamon, ginger, sugar, nutmeg, salt, turmeric with 1/4 cup oil
Cut chicken breast into 1” chunks
Coat in the marinade, refrigerate until ready to cook
Add 2 Tbsp oil to a pan
Add all other ingredients, mix well
Cook on medium-high, then reduce to low
Cover and cook for 2.5 hours on very low Add chicken , mix well
Cover, cook between 20-30 minutes
Serve warm
