How to make sweet potato jam recipe This sweet potato treat is everything- it’s a jam, pie flavor, cake filling, roulade & cookies flavor.
It’s an old-world authentic recipe that my mom used to flavor so many of her dishes with.
INGREDIENTS
1 can black bean
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1tsp. baking powder
1 orange- juice and zest
1/4 tsp. salt
2.5 oz. dark chocolate- chopped.
8oz. whip cream
1 tsp. orange blossom water
TO MAKE
Zest one orange, squeeze the juice.
Great the chocolate
Place cocoa powder, black beans, salt, orange juice, vanilla, baking powder, in a food processor, mix for 4-5 minutes to create a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter to a large bowl, add orange zest and chocolate.
Whip the eggs with the sugar to get a stiff cream.
Fold in the whipped eggs into the batter
Spray or oil baking dishes.
Bake at 350F (180C) for 30-40 minutes, cool completely. whip the whip cream & transfer to a Ziplock, cut a small corner in the bag.
Slice strawberries.
Decorate the cakes with whip cream & strawberries.
