Delectable Plums Strudel in no time

Delectable Plum Strudel

INGREDIENTS


1 package of puff pastry Peperidge farms (parve dough)

8-10 fresh plums

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1/2 can Apricot cake filling or 1/2 cup Apricot jam

1 egg for brushing

  • TO MAKE

  • Slice plums , about 6 slices from each plum, discard the seed

  • open the puff pastry dough, roll out to make it a little longer, about 12”x20'“

  • arrange all plum slices as it shows in the short video

  • sprinkle nutmeg on plums

  • spread appricot filling on plums

  • slice both sides of dough as it shows in the video

  • fold inward all pieces of dough to close strudel

  • brush with an egg

  • bake at 375F for about 35 minutes

  • Serve for breakfast, snack , or as dessert for every meal.
