Almond Pear & Apricot Tart

INGREDIENTS
1 Tbsp. unsalted butter for brushing
2 cups flour
1 cup almond meal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, room tempreture
1/4 tsp. almond extract
3 Pears, cut in halves
1-2 eggs for deeping
Mixture to sprinkle on peaches-;
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. sugar
TO MAKE
Place the dough hook in the mixer,
gradually add all the ingredients by the order in the ingredients list.
mix for a minimum of 8 minutes
divide the dough to 5-6 pices of 36” each.
Make a thin log of each piece
In a small bowl mix 1-2 eggs
Deep or brush the dough logs in egg mixture
sprinkle sesame or Zaatr or any flavoring of your choice
Cover with a towel, let sit for 40-60 minutes
Bake at 350F (180C) for about 20-25 minutes.
Serve for breakfast, snack , or with every meal.
