Apple Tart Tatin for Rosh Hashannah

INGREDIENTS

5 large apples

2/3 cup sugar

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

1 sheet puff pastry

  • TO MAKE

place butter in a wide pan, turn heat to low to melt the butter

Arrange the apples in a circle, cook on low-medium heat.

Add sugar & cinnamon, cook 8-10 minutes

Use a rolling pin to open the puff pastry make it about the size of your pan.

Make sure than the pan you chose can go in the oven as well.

Cut extra dough to fit the pan

Tuck in the puff pastry dough to fit the circle of the pan

Brush the dough with egg, bake at 350F (180C) for 20-25 minutes

Get a serving tray read and flip the pan right on the serving tray.
