My Mom’s Moroccan Shabbat Fish

INGREDIENTS

2 lb. Salmon, cod, mahi mahi, Tilapia

1 cup chick peas, cooked

1/4 cup cilantro & parsley

5 garlic cloves

1/2 tsp. cumin

2 cups water

1/4 cup olive oil

1 Tbsp. sweet paprika

3 dry california chili peppers

1/4-1/2 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. salt

1 tomato, thinly sliced

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

Optional-

1 tsp. hot paprika

1 lemon, sliced

TO MAKE

Start by peeling off garli, chopit to large pieces.

Chop cilantro and paesley.

Add garlic & oil to a pan, cook for one minute, add tomato & bell pepper, cook another minute,

Add all other ingredients except the fish, cook for 15-20 minutes, covered.

Add the fish, drizzle some of the sauce on the fish, cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes.

Decorate with some more greens if desired.

Serve warm, enjoy from my kitchen to yours.
