2 lb. chicken pieces

2 cups rice

1 tsp. salt

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 large onion, chopped

2 lb. carrots1 cup water

2 heads garlic

1 cup cooked chick peas

1 Tbsp. cumin

1 Tbsp. coriander

1 tsp. black pepper

1 Tbsp. crush chili pepper

TO MAKE

Add the onion to a wide pan with oil, cook to carmelize,

Add the pieces of chick, cook to brown chicken.

Add garbanzo beans and carrots , cover, simmer and cook for 15 minutes.

Soak the rice in water to wash the starch, repeat another 3 times to get rid of the starch.

Add 1 cup water water bring it to a boil.

Add more water

Add the spices, cook for 35 minutes, covered.

Serve this delicious dish warm with fresh salad.
