INGREDIENTS

Ingredients-:

1 package of puff pastry, thawed

4 Tbsp. olive oil

2 large onions, chopped

1 lb. ground meat

1/2 cup mix fresh parsley, sage, cilantro, chopped

2 Tbsp. bread crumbs

1/4 cup pine nuts, almonds or walnuts, chopped

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 egg for brushing

sesame seeds, optional

TO MAKE

Chop onions

Cook onions in oil, chop almonds, add to onions.

Mix constantly

When the onions get brown, add ground meat.

Add spices & herbs.

Brown the meat, mix constantly.

Let the meat cool a little

Open the dough

Roll the dough to stetch

Cover the baking pan with dough, make sure that there is extar dough on the sides.

Transfer meat to the baking pan.

Cover the meat with extra dough

Brush the top dough with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.

Bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.

Serve with fresh salad,
