Shabbat Chamin is a Delightful hearty Slow Cooked Dish.

Shabbat chamin or schina or defina is a hearty dish slow cooked that the Jewish community of Morocco invented many hundreds of years ago to offer a warm hearty dish on the Sabbath day where they could not cook, this solution provided a great hot meal for the sabbath day. This dish has it all, it includes meat, vegetables, legumes and grains so by making this dish you really did not have to add anything other than fresh fruit for dessert and maybe a salad. many other communities have similar dishes that varies from one community to another. Chamin is the ultimate Jewish dish for a Shabbat slow cooked dish.
